NEW Youth Center Construction Site

This will be your one-stop for pictures, drawings, plans, and videos about the new Youth Center that will be constructed over the next several months on the current site of the Retreat House.

WEDNESDAYS ARE WORKDAYS!

I am happy to say that things are starting to happen with the new youth center. We have a meeting with the city on November 11^th and if everything goes ok there another meeting the following week with City Council and after that we should be in good shape to start construction. In the meantime we are going to have a lot of work that needs to happen in the existing structure and we need your help! Each Wednesday evening from 5pm – 8pm there will be opportunities for YOU to help make this project a reality. Couple of things to point out.

1. We are looking for between 4-6 volunteers each Wednesday. Anymore than that at this point would be too many.

2. Volunteers must be at least 8^th graders or older and parents are also highly encouraged as well.

3. Please bring work gloves and dress accordingly – old and warm clothes.

5. Here are the dates coming up: November 5, November 12, November 19, December 3, December 10, December 17

6. Our project coordinators are; Mark Spaetzel, Dave Witzigrueter and T.J. Frie. For specific questions regarding what exactly we will be doing on each day, please contact them;

Thanks again in advance for all your help. This project will only be a reality with everyone helping out. I am so excited to see the finished project and I look forward to working with each and everyone of you over the next several months to see it completed. This is also a great opportunity for you Confirmands to get some service hours in. This is going to be a lot of work, but a lot of fun too!
