Avon Lake UCC is a mission-minded congregation. Our Mission Board oversees outreach programs within our congregation, in our community, and throughout the world.
Doorstep Dinners is a program that provides home-cooked meals to parishioners in times of need (following a birth, hospitalization, or in time of grief or crisis.) If you know someone who could use a Doorstep Dinner, or if you would like to volunteer to cook and deliver a meal, please contact the church office.
Heavenly Helpers are members who have volunteered to provide temporary assistance to others in the church: driving, respite care, light household cleaning and repair, yard work, etc. Requests to help or requests for assistance may be given through the church office.
