Medical Mission Partnership in India

Avon Lake UCC has had a medical mission partnership in India for over 40 years. Currently we are mission partners with the Christian Hospital in Mungeli, India. The director of the hospital, Anil Henry, was commissioned as a UCC missionary, from our congregation. He follows in the footsteps of his mother, Nancy Lott Henry, who grew up in the Avon Lake UCC and spent her entire adult life as a medical missionary in India. ALUCC supports Anil, his wife Teresa (anesthesiologist) and the work they do in Mungeli, with gifts of money, prayers, supplies, and occasional visits.
