History

The school was started in 1969 as a way to promote the education of young children and prepare them for kindergarten as well as to utilize our Sunday School classrooms during the week.  In the beginning, Jack & Jill consisted of one 3 year old and one 4 year class; we have grown and expanded to the present size—2 classes of 3 year olds, 2 classes of 4 year olds and a Pre-K class in both morning and afternoon sessions.  We are the largest pre-school in Avon Lake, with a license capacity of 92 children in each session.
