Worship and Sunday School
at 9 & 11am
Noah's Nursery Staffed Every Sunday
Worship Highlights
The theme for the season of Easter is Renew; the good news of Easter cannot be contained in one day: each Sunday we will continue to share the resurrection story of rebirth, new life, and the victory over fear, evil and death.
9 AM: Spirited Traditional Worship: this service is structured, and features hymns, a choir anthem, piano and organ music.
11 AM: New Horizons Worship: this service is more freeform, with an eclectic blend of music: some piano and keyboard, some worship band-led, and some recorded. This service also features the use of projected images.
At both services: Children’s Time, sermon, scripture, and prayers.
May 26: Rob Patton, preaching. Rob grew up in Ohio, and after attending Seminary at Bangor Theological Seminary, returned to be pastor of St. Stephen UCC in Sandusky from 1995-2008. There, he employed as Youth Director a young window salesman whom Rob knew had the gifts and passion for youth ministry until he was “stolen away” from St. Stephen by ALUCC! Rob left Sandusky to be Senior Pastor of Claremont UCC in Claremont, California until returning to Ohio in February of this year due to health and family concerns. Rob met Pastor Kelly when both attended the ACTS Doctorate of Ministry program in Chicago. Rob currently lives in Vermilion with his wife, Teri, their son, Nate and daughter, Trinity.
